A refreshed look for STV News was unveiled on 23 May 2011, marking the split of the 6pm and late evening bulletin from the east of the STV Central region – which launched its own service from Edinburgh.  The main presenters of the Glasgow and West version of the STV News continued to be John MacKay and Raman Bhardwaj.
